CELTIC KNOTS: Celtic knot work originated in the third or fourth century in the artwork of the Roman empire. After 450 A.D. the Celtic form of art was used by early Christians to decorate their manuscripts. The Celtic simple knot alone has several meanings. It is a symbol of protection, of binding fears, or malevolent energy. The ancient Celts, especially the Druids, had a keen sense of life and the afterlife and inherently understood the eternal, cyclical nature of life. Knots were a common motif to convey these eternal connections and revolutions in nature. It is believed that Celts were forbidden from using animals, plants, or human forms in their artwork and therefore, the intricate Irish Celtic symbols consisting only of geometric designs were created.

DOMESTIC: I ship Monday through Friday to the verified address in eBay within 1 business day of cleared payment (no weekends). Orders placed after 10 a.m. central time will ship the next business day. After 10 a.m. Friday purchases will ship the following Monday.

INTERNATIONAL: I use eBay’s Global Shipping Program which handles all Customs Forms, etc. For questions regarding shipping rates, import charges, etc., please contact eBay as I have no knowledge of the particulars - I simply ship the items to the Global Shipping center and eBay takes over from there.
