I believe that this beautiful cylindrical cloisonne pottery vase was made in France by Emaux de Longwy in the early 20th Century.

The makers name is impressed "Longwy" into the underside, and D829 and 103 are handpainted on the base as well. On close inspection there appears to be a 'T' impressed also (just above LONGWY).

It is unusual to see the 'white' background; though the signatory blue is very much present in the pattern

There are hairline cracks on the inside and on close inspection there have been repairs historically made- visible on the outside. The vase has crazing on the outside also.

Please refer closely to the photograghs for full description. This vase is approximately 9"/23cmH, 3.75"/9.5cm in diameter.
