Relié plein cuir à coins, dos et coins des plats à cuir marron caramel, plats avant et arrière anthracite. Dos à quatre nerfs, lettres dorées et fleuron végétal au milieu. Couverture souple originale conservée dans le livre avec seulement un petit défaut en bas à droite. Les planches à l'aquarelle sont protégées par des serpentes (papier de soie) noircies avec une typographie descriptive. Avec un ruban marque-page marron. COMPLET de toutes les 67 planches et dessins originaux à l’aquarelle.
Exemplaire unique et élégant. Quelques rousseurs éparses, mais rien qui entame les dessins ou les aquarelles dont les couleurs demeurent étonnamment vives pour l'âge.

Full leather rebacked, the spine and plate corners being covered with brown leather, front and back plates covered with black leather. Spine with four raised bands, gold lettering and a plant pattern in the middle. Original softcover preserved in the book with only a small defect at the right bottom. Watercolor plates are protected with darkened guard sheets with descriptive letterpress. With a brown bookmark ribboon. No markings.
COMPLETE with all of the original 67 watercolor plates and drawings.
A beautiful and unique copy. The watercolors and black and white drawings remain stunning while the elegant rebacking makes the book quite sturdier than the original softcover.
