Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse salt and pepper shakers.  Item is an original Dan Brechner exclusive produced in Japan for Walt Disney Productions circa 1961.  The original item number is WD-52.  The shakers are marked on the bottom "WD-52 (c) Walt Disney Productions" while the fronts are marked with the character names.  The Dan Brechner foil sticker is present on the bottom of both shakers.  No box included.  Original plastic stoppers are included.  Mickey is 5.25 inches tall and Minnie is 5 inches tall.

The shakers give an overall fair appearance for the age and materials.  Generally, there is some paint loss typical of the Dan Brechner products (the paint was applied over the glaze).  There is also crazing that is typical of the Dan Brechner products and is most visible on the unpainted/white areas.  Minnie is completely missing the noisemaker in the base (see photo 5).  Mickey's noise maker is present but no longer functions and is loose (see photo 5).
