How old is Canyon Diablo?  
At 4.5 billion years old, this planetary guest is older than Earth itself. 
Migratory Impact: 
The Diablo hit the Arizona desert with a 2.5 mega-ton force impact,
 leaving a crater that is nearly a mile wide, which you can see to this day.

Where did the Canyon Diablo meteorite come from?
The Canyon Diablo iron meteorites arrived 49,000 years ago when an asteroid plunged into North Central Arizona, forming Meteor Crater. Thousands of meteorite fragments of the asteroid were scattered by the explosion over the area.

Sue is a collector of meteorites and is also a member of the International Meteorite Collector's Association. (IMCA #7294) She has always been a co-owner of Topherspin Meteorites, but became a full-time partner in early 2021. Sue runs most of the daily operations for Topherspin Meteorites as well as serving as a project manager for the next business, which we will be launching in early 2024.  She is also contributing a monthly segment called the Metbull Monthly Update and has just started collaborating with Topher on a new segment - Conversations with Collectors.
