Up for your consideration is a 1965 Royal Copenhagen (of Denmark) Christmas plate, depicting the Little Skaters (Sma Skojtelobere), designed by Kai Lange. One boy is on his skates in the middle of the pond and a second is sitting on a sled tying up his skates. The plate has a border with a star at the top and the year 1965 at the bottom.

The plate measures 7 1/4 inches across and weighs 13 5/8 ounces.

The back has a green circular mark reading Royal (crown) Copenhagen Denmark (with a line under the E of Copenhagen), then 3 wavy blue lines with some initials next to them, and finally in green: KAI LANGE - Sma Skojtelobere - Little Skaters. There are 2 holes in the rim for hanging the plate.

The plate is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are a few light surface marks (very hard to see) and a hint of discoloration to the unglazed rim on the back side.
