The Jupio PowerVault is a handy long life external battery pack suitable for Nikon digital cameras which use the EN-EL15 battery. The battery adapter is inserted into the camera and the battery pack powers the camera directly. 5600mAh so will last as long as three EN-EL15 batteries, perfect for long shooting days where you do not want to worry about running out of battery during the day. The PowerVault has an additional USB socket which allows you to charge up your tablet and smartphone as well. A review

Used this with both a Nikon D810 and D850 to output video to an Atomos Ninja Flame. The D810 output 1080p24 and the D850 4kp24. In both cases the Jupio powered the camera for just shy of 2.5 hours. As a test, the standard Nikon battery powered either camera for 1.5 hrs in the same set up. The good: it works. It runs significantly longer than the standard battery. You can use it with 5v output devices as well (e.g. GoPro). It is convenient to charge. You can put it in a warmer place (or wrap a heat pack around it) if you are out doing astro photos in cold weather.
