"Legend of the Flatwoods Monster" is a fascinating documentary about one of America's earliest close encounters of the third kind with a UFO and its mysterious occupant that reportedly landed on a hilltop in rural Flawoods, West Virginia in 1952.
While playing football at a local schoolyard, several boys spot what appears to be a flying saucer streaking across the Appalachian mountains.  After alerting Mrs. Kathleen May who lived nearby, the party of seven encounters a hideous creature with glowing eyes and a perfectly round blood-red face enshrouded by an inverted helmet resembling an inverted Ace of Spades.  When they came upon the monster standing near an old oak tree along a winding path, a pungent odor emanated along the ground causing several of them to nearly pass out!

Dramatic reconstructions of actual events along with exclusive interviews with eyewitnesses make this a must-see film for all UFO enthusiasts!
This 2-Disc release contains over 100 minutes of extra features along with rare photos seen here for the first time.  Cameo with renowned UFOlogist Stanton Friedman and a special interview with Chuck Nunley, the oldest member of the eyewitnesses who appears on camera to recount his memories of this frightening event in his only on-screen recorded interview.

Also featured are interviews with Kathleen May and events recorded at the Flatwoods Museum during the 50th Anniversary of the sighting!
