Union-Castle Line: A fold-out (18" by 22") deck plan issued in the 1960s for the one-class KENYA CASTLE.

Detailed, color-coded plans show five decks on one side. On the other is a sectional view showing deck location and eleven color photos. Views show the Lounge, Dining Saloon, Smoke Room, "The Buttery" a la carte restaurant, Swimming Pool, Cocktail Bar, Promenade Deck, Gallery Library, and three different cabins.

While many U-C ships went off to the breakers in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the KENYA CASTLE was instead sold to Chandris in 1967. After an extensive redo she emerged as the cruise liner AMERIKANIS. She wasn't scrapped until 2001 after a remarkable thirty-nine year career.

Very good condition.
