Vincennes Sevres France Figure Peasant Woman Killing Chicken Colere W/Passion Marked

A small 7 1/2”T by 3 1/2”W figure of a peasant woman about to kill a chicken or a rooster made of hard paste porcelain by the French 18 th century company Vincennes the forerunner of Sevres. Has both the Vincennes mark (see page 221 of Kovels Dictionary of Marks Pottery & Porcelain 1650-1850 along with the artists mark in black inside the metal base. Was most likely a clock topper at one time. In very good condition for being over 250 years old.with only the bottom of the knife missing.No man made cracks chips crazing or repairs. Had a hard time taking pictures but you can see the 2 marks .A very rare figure to buy and present .As always good luck and happy buying.
