This fabric has a width of 50″, tow size of 3k and is woven in a 2×2 twill high density weave to make the fabric cosmetically the best it can be while keeping the fibers tight together. This unique weave for our Mirage™ line of carbon fiber is one of our most unique materials available. This material is a blend of carbon fiber and colored copper wire. This material represents an anodized look. To achieve this unique look, some colors start off with a real silver plated wire before they are colored to make sure the color is vibrant as possible. Due to the gauge of wire and twill weave style this fabric gives an extremely deep appearance. This material is special for Composite Envisions and we are the only supplier in the world for these high grade materials. If you are looking for a material to give that unique look, then here it is. There is no other fabric available that can compare to this material. This fabric is very beautiful in person and there is no way to capture the beauty in a photo. Material is 50″/127cm wide. 290gsm/8.6oz weight. Thickness 0.017″. Carbon Fiber Tow used is 3k Hexcel AS4 Aerospace Grade Fiber.

To harden the raw fabric into a usable form, you will need the appropriate resin or epoxy for your project.

How We Sell

We take care in shipping our items and we will never fold the fabric. Our fabric is always rolled onto a tube to prevent distortion of the weave.

This item is listed by the linear yard, which is 36"/91.44cm long by 50"/127cm wide. If you purchase a qty of 2, you will receive one continuous piece of fabric 72"/182.88cm x 50"/127cm and so on. We will leave the fabric in one continuous piece.
