For your consideration is a set of 2 hand painted porcelain plate,s vintage from the 1940s, Cabinet Display Plates’’ Climbing Mountain Road to the Temple''.

Hand Painted Decorative Plates painted at the Tao Fong Shan Christian Center. This a remarkable Christian retreat centre, high in the hills behind Sha Tin is very well-known and popular among Christians in Hong Kong.


Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre (Chinese: 道風山基督教叢林) is situated at Tao Fong Shan, Sha Tin, in Hong Kong. The Centre was founded in 1930 by the Norwegian missionary Karl Ludvig Reichelt (1877–1952)


Plates can be used as decoration as wall decor or displayed on easel.

Both are handprinted with only subtle differences in the pair.

Both are in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs

The plates do have holes in the back for a plate hanger to attach.
