FAQ:
1: How to do if lost password ?
Answer : It is not possible to restore HDD if lost password. It don’t have access to HDD if lost password. HDD can be use again after it be newly partitioned & formatted. But all the data stored in HDD will be lost.
2: How to do if HDD Enclosure broken ?
Answer : You should buy the completely same HDD Enclosure from us, and press the same password you kept, then it allows accessing to HDD’s data.
3: If the HDD can be partially encrypted,and partially NO encrypted ?
Answer : Now it could only be completely encrypted .
4: What is the situation if enter wrong password many times ?
Answer : You could not allow access to HDD’s data if enter wrong password. There is unlimited times to enter wrong password.
5: What is the situation if changing password is failure ?
Answer : It only need to enter the original password,and it still allow to access to data of HDD
6: If the HDD-A removes from Encrypted HDD Enclosure-A, then put HDD-A into another normal HDD Enclosure-B ,If the HDD-A is still allow to access to data ?
Answer : No, normal HDD Enclosure-B is not allow access to HDD-A .
HDD-A keep the same password as you created before.When you install HDD-A into a completely same model Encrypted HDD Enclosure-B from the same factory, it is allow access to HDD-A with your original password .
7. If you install another no-encrypted HDD-B (it was used before) into Encrypted HDD Enclosure-A , how to access to data of HDD-B and how to create the password ?
Answer : It is not allow to access to data HDD-B. You should partition and format HDD-B as new one as manual’s operations .
8: Where does the password stored ? Can the password be stole if it stole the flash on PCB?
Answer : NO. The password be stored different places, It could not stole the password if stole the flash from PCB.
