Biography: Son of the famous Tanna and Luigi Kasimir, Robert was born in 1914 Vienna, Austria. He studied under Hans Frank at the Academy of Graphic Art. Later, he moved to the United States in 1936 to enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. During his two years of study, he produced etchings of the different sites he traveled to across America. He became greatly-known for his unique take on the multiple plate color etching process invented from his parents.
