This round vegetable bowl and lid duo was made by Royal Doulton in their Burgundy pattern, which was in production from 1959 to 1981 and features a design of vine leaves and grapes in shades of blue and green on a white ground with silver line trim. At the time of listing this item I have other pieces available in this pattern - two oval serving platters (item ID 115576571864), five soup bowls and saucers (item ID 115901387982), a milk jug and sugar bowl (item ID 115819463289), a gravy boat and underplate (item ID 115819445018), and four tea trios (item ID 165185580130).

The bowl is 6.5 cms (2.65 inches) tall without the lid in place, 25 cms (9.75 inches) in diameter and together with the lid it weighs 1.035 kilos before packaging.

There are no chips, cracks or crazing, and very light surface wear.
