Can you tell me the difference between 'colloidal' and 'ionic' silver. Are they used interchangeably? What size particles does it make? Do you use the silver rods like I've seen on other CS units? I can't see them in the picture.
The SILVERengines proton produces about 70-80% ionic silver, and 20-30% colloidal silver. The terms are not interchangeable. "Silver ions" are individual positively charged atoms of pure silver which are smaller than 1/5th nanometer. "Colloidal silver" are clusters of silver atoms combined into particles so small (the majority are sub-100 nanometers) they do not "settle out" of solution. In the body, the silver ions do the heavy lifting.
The SILVERengines proton includes two 14 gauge 6" long .999 pure/fine silver rods. These come installed, typically last for one or more years, and are easily replaceable at a price of about $20.00 for the pair. You can see them bent in a "U" shape and attached under the proton.
