Vintage Ulla Winblad Hjelmqvist Studio Art Pottery Bowl

This is a lovely studio art pottery bowl created by Ulla Winblad Hjelmqvist. The deceased artist was born in Sweden and came to Washington state in 1967. The bowl is in colors of slate blue, gray, cream and black with a band of art nouveau style flowers around the middle. The interior is a dark blue with a glaze that drips from the top into the bowl. It is signed by the artist on the bottom and dated '85. The bowl is in beautiful condition. It does have a couple of glaze blips on the interior, but no chips or cracks.

The bowl measures about 8.25 inches in diameter across the top and sits 4.75 inches tall.

To My Customers:

It is never my intention to distort or deceive anyone about the items I am selling. I try to expose as many flaws as I see and take a lot of photos for you to view. If I accidentally miss something, please let me know. Or, if I inaccurately describe an item, I would appreciate your input. I sell a variety of items and while I do know something about many of the items I sell, I am by no means an expert on everything. I want to have satisfied customers and I will do my best to resolve any issues. But, you must also do your part by reading the descriptions, viewing the photos and emailing me with any questions or concerns. I may also use recycled packaging material for packing. Thank you!
