Antique Japanese Patinated Cast Bronze Tiger from the early 1900’s. Animals in that time period were depicted in their natural state. They used a process where acid was poured over bronze to create the stripes, referred to as “in relief” which is very rare and has a raised feel. This magnificent statue measures 8” long x 3 1/2” high x 2 1/4” wide. On the underside is a 3 character marking.
