Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new replacements for the 2SA798 dual transistor. The 2SA798 frequently goes bad in vintage equipment, and can cause you to have high DC offset, crackling, and more problems. The original dual transistor has been discontinued for decades, and is difficult to find, but luckily some fine folks on Audiokarma designed a replacement for it. These are nice and small and will fit easily. Each board is 12.4mm x 10.4mm and is 3mm thick.

This listing is for two mostly built 2SA798 replacements, so all you have to do is add wires and install them. For the wires, just use cut-off leads from capacitors, resistors, or diodes. If you do rebuild work you should have plenty of them available.

Installation is fairly easy--you will need a soldering iron, solder, and some sort of desoldering device.
