     This is a premier quality Manchester KASHAN carpet with a distinctly classical ambiance. The deep blue field is rarely seen in fine Persian KASHAN's, and the hand crafted detail work is lush and very finely drawn. The masterful naturally dyed color palette is punctuated by varying tones of prized green. High quality wool and very fine weave.

What is Manchester wool and why it is used in making KASHAN Carpets ? 

Manchester wool is derived from a specific type of sheep variety called  MERINO SHEEP. In the instance of Manchester KASHAN rugs and carpets, these are rugs which implemented the use of MERINO wool originated from Australia. The processing into yarn used in weaving such rugs was done in Manchester England, and ultimately exported to Iran for weaving. The Manchester KASHAN is a very unique variety of KASHAN , with a naturally high luster, and long staple fiber.
