One doorknob and One escutcheon catalog # C-15900 maker and year unknown at this time. Odd-shaped knob made of heavy cast bronze with what appears to be a brass plate finish to give it the gold look. The cast bronze knob weighs over 1/2 lb. while the escutcheon is nearly a full lb.  At its widest point knobs are over 2-1/2" wide. These were under brown and/or white paint so there may be a trace of it here or there. Despite the paint the original finish remained in good condition. I can't say for sure these are rare, but they definitely are not common. I sell and come across many unique knobs, and these are the only ones of this style I have ever come across.  (Saying that I'll probably get a dozen emails of people who have many of these, I await your photos).
