Miami Beach at the height of the Art Deco movement was making a SPLASH on Miami's South Beach where Ocean Drive was popped with one hotel after another...you could reach out a window of one hotel and practically touch the other next door...it was a city built on the ocean...a SWANK and GLAM city at that...it is where so many tropical dreams come true...where people can leave their lives in Wichita or Alaska and come let your hairz down for a spell of salty sea air...the textiles reflected the designs of the hotels...they are Art Deco and mirrored many of the architectural designs of the period that were specific to South Beach...the sea shell look was very popular...leafy scrolls were deeply admired...and together they created some of. Here today to pay a visit after 80 something years.

This offering is for ONE unused unwashed remnant of pure 30's Art Deco barkcloth in a tropical spirited design on rare black that is sure to take you back to South Beach circa 1938...a deep black ground...so dang nubby...just delicious...huge fronds in aquas...turquoise teals...magenta...raspberry...merlot...chartreuse lemon and lime...bubble gum pink...dark chocolate...with white accents. Measures 23 inches wide x 21 inches long. Expect flawless.
