Perfect retirement gift, funny gift for a young person just starting their career, promotion.  I am calling this set rare as I have searched and unable to find a set like this.  There are many old couples in rocking chair coin banks but these two are different.  This set is made of ceramic or chalkware? the old man is wearing a suit jacket and bow tie smoking a pipe and the old lady is wearing a pink with white ruffled dress, both are reading a book (the book doesn't say retirement fund) retirement fund is written on the back of the rocker.  Please see all photos this treasure set shows signs of age and use all over including chips, scratches, paint is worn in areas retirement fund writing is fading, and both original stoppers are very thick but cracking. Bottom felt is worn.  They both need a very good cleaning.  These were definitely used, with plenty of use still left.
