Hackmanite is a rare variety of Sodalite.
This Blue Hackmanite exhibits tenebrescence, it changes colour when exposed to UV light. The amount of colour change varies from site to site with-in a location and indeed with-in a stone itself.
This Blue Hackmanite is from Afghanistan.
