Was haben wir hier Zum einen Aufnahmen jener aktuellen Band, die vom guten Namen des legendären Hollywood Fats profitiert. Neun dieser Aufnahmen sind wirklich neu (Restmitglieder der Hollywood Fats Band plus Gitarrist Kirk Fletcher); der Rest entstand wohl im Verlauf der letzten zehn Jahre. Hier kommen Gäste wie Kim Wilson und Junior Watson zum Zuge. Doch kommen wir zum interessanten Teil, den bislang unveröffentlichten Liveaufnahmen in der Originalbesetzung. Diese Aufnahmen sind wirklich hörenswert und existierten in der Sammlerszene nur als technisch minderwertige Raubkopien. Joe Bellamy hat einen guten Job gemacht und das Beste aus den simplen Mitschnitten heraus geholt. Die Hollywood Fats Band mit eigenem Repertoire oder als Begleiter von Gästen. Mit CD Nr.1 kann ich nicht viel anfangen; doch diese Live-CD allein ist das Geld wert
