This movie depicts the invasion of Provence in France by paratroopers on August 15th 1944.
The story focuses on three paratroopers who after landing, have to regroup with their fellow soldiers in the village of Les Arcs, help the local resistance to free some of their members and organise the ambush of a German armour unit. Lives will be shattered, hope will be lost, love will be found, and men will be changed.... forever.
