The roller foot is particularly suitable for sewing (with a straight stitch) materials that slide poorly such as leather, plastic and vinyl
The roller foot is ideal for piping and sewing over multi-layered fabrics.
This presser foot does not slide like traditional sewing feet, but rather rolls over the fabric. The wheel has a profile and holds the material securely. This ensures smooth maneuvering on Allen types of fabric without distorting the fabric or hindering transport. The construction of the foot also offers excellent visibility of the stitch area. The needle is placed just outside the roll.
