A vintage old chinaman figure on turtle, God of Longevity hand carved..

This unique figurine is made of ivory colored resin material, carved to depict the Traditional god of longevity, “Old man of the South Pole”, Shouxing. He is depicted as a bearded old man with a high brow and a crooked staff in one hand and holding a peach of immortality and peace in old age in his other hand. He is riding a turtle, also a Chinese symbol of immortality and a special blessing. The figure is one of the Seven gods of fortune. He is beautifully intricately carved with a touch of color in the staff and peach. He has decorative robes with Diamond like shapes, flowers and angular designs. He measures 6 1/2” x 4 1/2” x 3” and weighs 1# 14oz. He is in very fine condition with wooden staff above his head loose and needs to be secured. Ships USPS. Seller code G76.
