The story behind this product is interesting. If you see my profile I only do Sports Cards/ collectibles but have 100% feedback!

Recently my grandfather passed away and we were going through the attic for the estate sale. He has a bin of old pins, baseball cards, autographs, and items he thought would be of value. In the safe we found two sealed IPhones. 1 IPhone 3GS (this listing) and an IPhone 4 also sealed.

When the IPhone first came out he was truly amazed and always commented how insanely revolutionary these devices were. He always would bring Apple up in conversation. I remember him saying in his life certain things amazed him. The progression of video games, Cars, Television but he said far and away the iPhone was the best product he’s ever seen. He always would give us Apple Shares on our birthdays (still have them to this day)

Anyway, we found the sealed iPhone and my Grandma said he’s been holding onto them forever how he thought they’d be of value. It appears to be originally sealed from the manufacturer and when I looked up the Seriel Number it says the phone has never been activated (Check Images Above).

I contacted a few friends and one drew me to an Article about how the original IPhone sold for 35,000$! At auction. Obviously given this is a year or two later I imagine it won’t command the same price.

I did research trying to figure out how to tell it’s legitimacy since we can’t open the box to see and I was told the best way was to look up the IPhone to see if it’s been registered which it hasn’t.
