A QUALITY, EARLY 20th CENTURY CUT GLASS BEADED PENDANT BASKET CHANDELIER

CIRCA 1920

This chandelier is of good antique quality. The three light fittings create a good illumination as a central light for a largish room. I had this as central hanging light in the living room of my period house until recent change around, so I know it works and gives a good light. 

It is old and used, and strings of cut glass beads are slightly bent and irregular, and look as if restrung at some point. Worn gilt on brass has a nice antique tone. Has up to date wiring.

Measurements: basket from finial drops to top of brass rim 25 cm/to top of bows 26 cm/full length 66 cm; diameter of bowl 30 cm
