This stunning quality French fencing mask which is made of brown leather has a heavy mesh wire guard, leather hair / straw filled padding and dates from the early part of the 20th century.
This wonderful antique piece, which is a very nice example with embossed decorated leather, comes mounted on a later wooden stand and looks great as an unusual display piece. Would make a very nice collector's piece for a sports enthusiast or a great prop.
