Alpinestars Monteira Drystar® XF

The waterproof touring jacket was developed to ensure that adventure tourists are optimally protected and comfortable when traveling in any climate and weather. The construction of the Monteira Drystar® XF jacket is designed to provide optimal protection, weather protection and comfort. The 2-layer, laminated, waterproof Drystar® XF membrane offers excellent breathability in wet and dry conditions, optimal temperature management as well as comfort, light weight and quick drying.
The jacket is laminated so that touring riders can travel comfortably even in bad weather and the equipment does not become heavy and wet. The laminated membrane dries quickly after rain and features vents on the outside to direct air directly through the interior of the jacket. It has a collar closure with internal Velcro and an adjustable, self-centering snap closure for an optimal fit, allowing the rider to leave the collar open in warm weather. Ergonomically shaped, adjustable cuffs and a quick-release and adjustment system for the wrists make it easier to use with gloves.

Note on disposal of used batteries

The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered to them (end users):

1. Free return of used batteries

Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries so that proper disposal can be guaranteed. You can return old batteries to a municipal collection point or to a local retailer. As a distributor of batteries, we are also obliged to take back used batteries, although our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we have or have had in our range as new batteries. You can therefore either return old batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge directly to our shipping warehouse at the address stated in the imprint.

2. Meaning of battery symbols

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries that contain more than 0.0005 percent mercury by weight, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by weight, or more than 0.004 percent lead by weight, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located under the garbage can symbol - "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" stands for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.
