This is a listing for a vintage folk art Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa measures approximately 9-1/2" by 4 by 2". Santa is artist signed by Irene Ballard. Mrs. Claus measures approximately 8" by 3-3/4" by 2". She is artist signed by Deb Hughes, 1984. These Christmas items are part of the Wolf Creek legacy and would be a one of a kind addition to any Wolf Creek collection.

Wolf Creek Woodworking was a family owned toy factory that manufactured wooden toys and other primitive wooden art objects in the late 1970s through the mid to late 1980s. The factory was located in Beaman, Iowa. The Woodworking company was noted for employing mostly retired area natives known as the "Elderly Elves". These Grandpas and Grandmas hand built a variety of solid wood, primitive and folk art objects. The "Elderly Elves" worked diligently to provide wood-crafted folk art objects and primitive wooden pieces that could be used and cherished for generations. Most of the pieces are signed by the artist who crafted and painted each individual piece. We inherited the small amount of remaining inventory. It is available until it is sold out.
