M1876 US "Prairie Belt" .45 caliber ammo belt.  Original length, uncut tongue, though it is quite stiff and had to be reattached with professional leatherworker's adhesive, now is firmly attached for display.  Has a worn, campaign-used appearance overall with little loose strings present on the loops, but only one chip worth mentioning.  Has 1879 modification of 3 brass rings to allow the various hooked implements produced by the government to hang off the belt.
