This is a lot of 2 illustrations from an almost destroyed copy of the printed in 1872 book titled "The Golden State: A History of the Region West of the Rocky Mountains" by R. Guy McClellan. Published by William Flint and Company, Measures 5 inches by 8 inches. Some of them were done by known artists of the "Old West."  Some have the artist's name etched into the plate. Appear to be original lithographic depictions-not a dot in sight. May have some historic value to someone and I did not have the heart to throw them away! Could be matted and framed or used as historic illustrations. Will be mailed out in a large envelope.
