Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen Jaywalkin' SACD Hybrid TOWER RECORDS JAPAN

Product introduction

"Recording a performance full of the 1970s 'crossover jazz' atmosphere, with clear sound quality without being too cloudy" - Hiromi Wada

One of the signature bass players of the Steeplechase label, Niels-Henning Oersted Pedersen's first leader work at the age of 29. Participating members are the talented guitarist Philippe Catherine, Ole Koku Hansen who plays the edgy electric piano throughout, and the drummer Billy Higgins who shines with flexible play.

His own original music, which puts 100% of his own musicality into it, is sometimes jazz-rock-like, and presents a crossover and phantasmagoric aspect. In addition, he demonstrated his extraordinary talent as a composer and bassist, such as Antonio Carlos Jobim's masterpiece "A Felicidade", which he pushed with lead bass, and the standard "That's All", which he listened to on solo bass. One work.
