Vintage Antique Metal Trunk Food Chest Embossed Decorative Storage Display Decor

Stunning rare little metal chest/ trunk with embossed patterns and what I think is possibly a potato embossed design to the lid and sides. The trunk also has air holes to the sides - I can’t find anything about it online, but think it must be a food storage trunk? I honestly do t know what it was originally used for!

It measures approximately 30.5cm in length, 20.5cm in width and 20.5cm in height.

Condition is obviously used as per photographs, the front catch/lock is missing, but the metal trunk is in overall excellent condition for its age.

Perfect small storage trunk/chest or for general decorative display. It really is a lovely item.
