This large antique French football statue which dates from c1880 is of an early Football player about to kick the ball. This highly decorative figure which is made of cast metal has a bronze effect finish and is mounted on the original wooden base.
This great item of sporting memorabilia would have once been used as a trophy and has the maker's signature of L & F Moreau together with a brass plaque to the front that reads Foot-Ball. Par L & F Moreau.
This large and impressive looking football figure has very nice detail, looks impressive on display due to it's large size and would make a super gift for a football enthusiast.
