These are top-quality bulbs, and are the exact same ones I use when I rebuild Sansui gear. These are top-of-the-line lights--I love using them! These are all plug-and-play, so no worries about adding resistors or anything.
You will need a soldering iron, wire cutters, needlenose pliers, heat-shrink tubing (and something to heat it with), and a Philips screwdriver. This is a moderately complicated job, but you can probably do it--it's not that bad.
Be very careful not to damage the tuning dial cord when you're soldering! If you wrap the dial cord in aluminum foil ahead of time, that will help protect it. Please see my pictures for details.
