Greetings!  You are purchasing a forty and eight 40/8 veterans organization pin originally belonging to A. J. Haile who went by "Josh" who lived in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  This pin features a soldier next to a train car with a man and horse in the train car.  The side of the train car reads 40 Hommes 8 Chevaux which means 40 people or 8 horses. The writing is in French and is in reference to World War 1 where soldiers and horses were moved to the front lines by rail.  The pin was produced by the IJWU, the International Jewelry Workers Union.  Shipping will be $5.50.  I guarantee my description as accurate so buy with confidence!
