DESCRIPTION: Victorian Period Accessories. Antique original Gustave Dore engraving. This is a bookplate from the book "Bible Talks with Children". Copyright 1889. This is an original 1889 Gustave Dore engraving. The scene is Angel Showing Jerusalem to st. John. Antique. Over 100 years old. Original book plate removed from a book. Left margin rough and will probably need to be trimmed. Book text on back of print. Overall light tan color from age. Look at pictures and ask questions. Possible small margin tears, corner folds, and foxing. Will be listing many engravings, so if margin condition important to you, email for any condition problems that you don't see in pic. Any minor damage other than toning is only on margin, engraving itself in very good condition. Will look great framed. I will be listing many of these early engravings, so look at pic and ask question about condition. You will receive item pictured as pictured. Will combine shipping on multiple Dore engraving purchases. Shipping is $6.00 for 1 and add .50 cents for each extra engraving purchased. Overall measures about 11 x 8 (including margin). TERMS: Washington State residence pay appropriate sales tax unless you have a valid resale number. International buyers must have 10 feedback or more (or contact us prior to bidding). We accept credit cards through Paypal. Buyer pays shipping, handling, and insurance. Payment must clear before pick-up or shipping of an item. We need to hear from the high bidder within 2 days of auction end. Payment needs to arrive within 4 days after the auction, or we reserve the right to sell to the second highest bidder or relist the item, unless prior arrangement has been made. We usually ship 3 to 7 days after payment clears. We charge a $2.50 handling fee. All items sold as-is where-is. We are only responsible for the item while in our possession. We will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. We will pack all items VERY WELL with bubble wrap and peanuts(furniture will be packed by the shipper). That is why ALL of the items purchased require insurance. In the unlikely event an item is damaged or lost by the mail/shipper we will work with you to help you file your claim, but the settlement will be between you and the carrier. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements on furniture items. We do have the phone number/email address of a couple of good shippers and will forward this if needed.
