VINTAGE VFD NIXIE CLOCK "RHATA".

 

History

 This souvenir clock was made in the  factory in Chervonograd  in Lviv region in Ukraine around 1994. The name "Rhata"was given because of the small river called Rhata, which flows into the river Western Bough that flows near Chervonograd. 

   This clock was made around 1994 but technical progress at that moment in Ukraine was retarded so analogical clocks were manufactured in The USA and Europe in 1960s' and 1970's. so  it is a rarity.

 

This  clock was made in the factory using similar parts: nixie indicator ILC 4-5/7L and microchip KR145IK1911.

 Description of the clock:

CLOCK size (no strap):
LENGTH - 220 mm
WIDTH - 160mm
HEIGHT - 40 mm



LENGTH with strap -  800mm

 This item is well preserved and I couldn't find any scratches or visible defects on the body of the clock.There are  the plastic body of the clock, dark filter to reduce luminosity before indicator. There is a button on|off alarm at the one side .The clock has a power supply and operates from the power network 220v. Alarm-clock  works in a simple signal.  Original strap was made of a foam and became worn. The strap of the clock was made of stretch fabric  and is coloured in dark.


WARNING!

1. The clock  works with power network and does not have a battery.

                   2. When it is disconnected from power network all clock settings disappear.
