This listing is for a huge lot of stamped felt flowers for crafts.  They were originally created for floral arrangements, and embellishments to hats, clothing, and jewelry. They would be great for creating vintage decorations, centerpieces, and more.  They are from the 1950's, and are in excellent vintage condition.

In the 1950's, faux flowers were often blown mold plastic, crepe paper, sometimes silk, for flowers and hats, and sometimes, like these, from felt.   They have charming "patina" - the aged look things get over time.  This basically means they show their age, but in a good way.  They are primarily bright red, with some shades of pink, and an occasional purple piece mixed in.  There are some rounded flat pieces that are meant to be some type of calla lily.   There is 1 - yes, only 1, fabric stitched leaf.  Many have composite stamens threaded through the centers with wires.  Many do not.  The flowers were made by stacking the little flower petals, to form a 3 dimensional flower.  There are some that are just flat.  I am selling them all together, so you will have plenty for whatever you decide to make.  When I purchased them, I thought about doll clothes, and even hats for fairies, or cards.  I really wanted to make cards.

I had planned on using them for crafts!  Heh.  I never made a single craft.  But I sure do love the vintage craft stuff!  I have quite a bit of vintage craft items that I am going to be listing, so check back.  Check in on my other listing for felt flowers, as well.
