Up for purchase is a brand new (vintage 1985) in box Gigi doll by Bertha Rogers.  "Colette's Gigi, properly known as 'Gilberte', is one of literature's most endearing young heroines.  She is all schoolgirl innocence in her white satiny frock with tightly fitted, tucked bodice and the 'leg-of-mutton' sleeves so popular in the early 1900's Viictorian era.  The high collar of the bodice is defined by a blue velvet bow centered with a genuine jade.  The scalloped skirt flares out beguilingly over a deep blue petticoat with full flounces.  Velvet ribbon edges the hem and accents the many-gored skirt.  Gigi wears a summer straw hat with velvet ribbons trailing from the crown."
