Vintage Wooden Wall Mounted Telephone Bell Box converted, like my rimlock lamp into hallway wall lamp/keyholder. This small telephone bellbox was from 1920's period and used as an intercom within a large house, with the brass receiver hook now holding your keys, and the central carved  microphone section now holding an E14 bakelite style lamp holder and a warm LED gold ball bulb, which not just rate A+, but runs cold to the touch. Hidden within the box is a cable grip and the original wiring kept for posterity! Its powered by a long black cable with inline switch and fused plug. 4 Mounting holes are already in the base, ready for wall mounting in your hallway. Apart from cleaning and polishing the brass bell and adornments, no destructive changes were made just in case someone wants to try to get it working again! A beautiful and unique one off.

With EVERY lamp i make, thought goes into the aesthetics, the lamp holder, bulb, fittings and cable and all have to go together in a seamless way and organic way, something i love doing and hope makes my work stand out from others!

Each lamp conversion has a 2.5m cable with an inline switch which just like all the electrical fittings, has been professionally made and conforms to all electrical standards. A cable grip is always added for safety (to prevent cable loosening if pulled accidentally)
