You are buying a "prized" Mardi Gras bead necklace with a medallion in excellent condition and comes from a "smoke-free" home from the Mystic Krewe of Nyx.

This New Orleans Mardi Gras medallion/necklace throw from the Mystic Krewe of Nyx was made in 2017.  The Mardi Gras necklace measures 22.5" long (from the top of the necklace to the bottom of the medallion) and has alternating pink and purple shiny metallic plastic beads separated by a small silver colored plastic bead.  The main medallion (at the bottom of the necklace) features a multicolored night scene of a dancing couple in the center and the city of New Orleans in the background including the Louisiana Superdome.  The couple dancing are dressed formally and the lady is holding a pink purse with the word "NYX" in black lettering.  Below the dancing pair are multicolored music notes and "NYX 2017" in yellow lettering.  Behind the city of New Orleans backdrop is a large quarter moon with multicolored stars and the words "DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY" in cursive writing around the top of the medallion.  The medallion is made of solid polystone, measures about 2.25" wide by 2.5" tall.  The medallion at one time use to light up at night (currently does not function, however, it may work with 3 "AG3" replacement batteries) and has a light on/off button switch on the reverse side.  On both the left and right side of the necklace is a large silver colored shiny mirror disco ball that measures 1.5" in diameter.
