Coat was brought to me to make a keepsake teddy bear.

 It originally belonged to a Chicago business woman ( elderly owner's great aunt) in the 1890s.

 The black velveteen coat made a beautiful bear and I purchased the remainder.

 30 years later I am elderly and offering this to someone else to treasure.

 It is 5 3/4" long

 Each carved button is 2" wide x 7/8 deep with center blue glass cabochon set in filigree 

 The center piece has a red glass cabochon that has green highlights 

 The metal has slight rust
