Hapag-Lloyd: An English-language, sixteen-page cruise brochure for the M.S. EUROPA. This 1975 promotion was one of the last aimed at the American market before Hapag-Lloyd pulled out of North American to concentrate on German business.
White is a lovely color for this handsome vessel, formerly Swedish American Line's KUNGSHOLM of 1953. I'm not so sure about the highway-cone orange funnels, but it certainly distinctive. The brochure has a few pages of color interior/deck views, a listing of thirty-two different cruises with rates, and plans in back that show seven decks in detail. This EUROPA was so successful that Hapag-Lloyd still offers cruises today.
