Cigarette case - sterling silver - 14K gold spiral inlay - circa 1920's Kerr.
I bought this piece in Singapore in 1977.
We were the first nuclear carrier to port in Singapore.
After several Singapore slings with mates at Raffles Hotel we ventured off to Boogie Street.
Along the way I found a kiosk selling interesting expensive items.
My eyes locked on the to the sterling silver cigarette case.
We made a cash deal - I absolutely love this piece.  I used it as a money clip for 15 years.
Much research later I discovered it was a Wm. Kerr Piece towards the end of his life.
Kerr had never done spiraled gold inset until late 1926.  He died in 1927.

Love this piece - want to pay it forward to someone who will enjoy it.
