Chester Fields (1945 - ): An American born artist who began sculpting eagles in the 1980s because he believed they were going extinct. Fields achieved immediate success, with his first sculpture "Splashdown" winning best in show at the C.M. Russell auction. This sculpture now happens to be in the possession of Anheuser Busch. It was during his time in the army that Fields became obsessed with sculpture, as he was traveling to many museums on the regular. He is also an accomplished painter who routinely sold his works for $30 - 50,000.00, and thus has become one of the most prolific artists of today, placing him in the top 1% of living artists.
